KENYA MOTHER SUPPORT GROUP

Mary Albunu holds Baby Robert Tikai five month, as she attends a mother to mother group at Manyatta Zebra, Isiolo county, Kenya Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014. The mother-to-mother support group in the village of Manyatta Zebra teach women about hygiene and sanitation, nutrition, how to breastfeed, the importance of going to antenatal check-ups and delivering in hospital. Just as important it has generated a sense of community and solidarity in the town's child bearing women and created an exchange of information and knowledge between mothers.
